one of 3 bad modules caused PC do no signals sent to keyboard and video, motherboard doesn't emit post sounds anyhow, but after switching out RAM it boots up actually.

3 months later user complains about a recurrence, but, that previously bad module taken out, errors had stopped for 3 months, now is getting seg faults again. could be win98, have to see the seg fault message. If, as before, happens without warning, unexpectedly anytime.

disk storage ------------ cylinder-track-sector is the order. A cylinder is along the z-dimension, across all 3 platters. A Track goes around the central spindle in a complete circle. There will be 3 tracks in each cylinder. The sectors are the pieces of the pie contained inside the track. disk speed has two parts:
